Thanks to a generous grant awarded by GU-Q research office, my friend Sazid and I are conducting a qualitative study on the educational experiences of Rohingya Refugee children in Bangladesh and the cultural dimensions of said experiences. Specifically, this study is interested in how, in their current states, the educational programs play a role in identity-building among Rohingya children. Fieldwork will be completed by this summer and a (draft) paper is expected to be ready by the end of the year.
